You need to do a little math. I would recommend you max out your settings on your cam, take a pic... Check the file size and multiply the file size till you get up around 512.

This is the numbers on an SD 32 Meg Card...

BEST 11 - 5MP images (2.6MB), 23 - 1MP images (1.25MB)
BETTER 23 - 5MP images (1.25MB), 48 - 1MP images (600KB)
GOOD 48 - 5MP images (600KB), 96 - 1MP images (300KB).

Times it all by four....Depending on what size photos you want...

Best...Is going to give you 44 Pics...
I use the *Better Mode*..Pics come out perfect/large...My cam gives me 92 Pics @ 5.MP's ;) Spice

oh....lol..

buy the biggest you can afford?
for a 5mp Camera I would suggest a 256mb Stick but it also depends on the quality setting of course..


my Camera Fuji S5000 holds around 120pics on a 128mb xD Card
it's only 3.2mp though..
if you go on a week trip or something and you can unload the memory card somehwere (like you laptop) a smaller card wont be a big deal..
