Just had an email from Gameplay.com telling me that the release date for Half Life 2 has been changed to Sep 24 2004

Thats 248 days until release!!!

I guess they must be completly re-making that game! Shame nVidia got so upset about their performance, that they forced a re-work of the GFX Engine to make nVidia GPU's perform better.

Was really looking forward to that game..HL1 being so fun in single player.

Well, the list is down to 2 games this winter.
1) Battlefield Vietnam (multiplayer)
2) Doom III (single player and just to see that game engine)

just an update, this is a rumor

the reason they said September 24th was because of the unanounced date

a lot of people still feel the game will ship in March

only time will tell i guess
