Does Speedguide condone the act of destroying harware by whatever means then RIPPING of retailers by use of RMA?

Just curriouse that you jump all over Warez threads because Microsoft might read this site.
But my bet is that Newegg, NCIX and other retailers also read these forums and what they see is blatant admittance of Fraud by members here.

Why are these threads not also shut down?
And members told that this is also not a good message for the forum. I used to point people towards SG for the great knowledge base, but the openess of fraudulant acts after wrecking components seems to be a proud flag to carry for many here therefore I don't point people here anymore.

The good done here outweighs the bad, but the bad stands out for all to see.

I agree.

I was ripping someone for doing that in the gaming forum. I can't seem to remember who it was. Odd.

I agree with you 100% here. It pisses me off when some kid RMAs a chip he fried, simply because he got a little too greedy in his overclocking. The retailer or manufacturer takes a hit, and in turn, passes that hit along to the customer in the form of higher prices.

Most RMAs are probably non-defective products, which can simply be chalked up to "user error" or some sort of incompatibility. But lies like those a little different from what you said, fraud.

If those guilty have ever unwittingly purchased a rewraped return from a retailer that was fried or tampered, it is unlikely they would do the same.

In teh long run it could do them in, people from these companies start seeing this in alot of forums and then change their return policy.

I do agree, but I think the blame goes back to teh chip makers and other companies that except the burnt chips.

Which in turn would cut people off from making legitimate returns or exchanges...
