I believe that a lot of SG'rs were in the red cuz the EOC server was still catching itself up after being down for all those weeks.

I have been getting a lot of SLOW low point jobs lately that take more time then the damn 60 point jobs...specifically like 525 and 511 which takes like 13mins per unit and its only 30pts
and even 11 pointers...i see a big difference with these new jobs in the 500-800 ranges

And on that Note:
What are the differences between the work units and the point system? Can you request certain types of WU's?
I have worked on units in the 500-800 range that increment in progress by 1's
I have also gotten WU's in the 2500 range which increment by 25's?
What the difference?
Thanks

Im sorry when I said points I just meant what the job was worth after it was completed. Usually when u see the jobs that increment by 1 those are done by TINKER. I have only gotten a few of those. The ones from Project 685-692 are worth 70pts each. They are usually very long and takes 400 steps to complete. There are lower ones that only give you 5-40pts. I think the ones with TINKER are G@H, but Im not sure.
Lately the server has been assigning my slower machines with the heavier projects and my fast machines with the lower projects.

Oh an No you aren't supposed to be able to pick your projects, but I would bet just by looking at some teams that there are some that edit their IE host file and only allow F@H to access the servers that give out the higher projects.

mine are just really poor stats right now. I am getting crappy jobs like mad and no points for em to speak of. With 5 solid rigs you would think I would be pumpin out the points. Well, more than I am getting right now. And I also have a couple of rigs that are puttin out points but are a little slower on the fold.
It just seems like I should be getting at least double the work I seem to be reporting ...

I hear ya. I gave up on watching the stats for the most part and just let it run. It was getting pretty frustrating.

I used to monitor progress but I have gotten rid of the program that I used and just let em run ... I checked my stats the other day and well I am astonished at how few points I have earned over the past couple of months ...
