Netmeeting doesnt work anymore

Netmeeting used to work perfectly for me.

I installed the TCP Optimizer and the Quest@Home software and Netmeeting no longer worked, we could not send video/audio to each other. I uninstalled the programs thinking it would fix it, but it did not. So does anyone know what's wrong?

Before I uninstalled TCP Optimizer I set the settings back to default, or to the way they were.

Have you tried system restore and going back to a date when Netmeeting was working?

If only I had XP....haha. I'm using Windows 98, so I cant do that. I can send video/audio with other programs, but not with netmeeting. I want to use Netmeeting because it has a clean and simple interface.

Win98...boot to command prompt

scanreg /restore

Choose date of registry to restore before it stopped working.

what if I have installed other programs since that date on my computer? If I restore my registry to that date, then won't I have to re-install those programs?
