Wireless Router for networking only?

If you buy a wireless router, can you use it just
for connecting PC's with wireless cards? (I am
still waiting on broadband to be available in my area)
In the mean time, I have 3 PC's in my house. Can I get
them talking to each other if I have a wireless card in
each and a wireless router?

Yeah you can set a nice Wireless Network using a Wireless Cable/DSL Router.

Just leave the WAN (Internet side) port open.
