Are you serviced by Time Warner or Brighthouse? And yes the caps are being raised to 3Mbps/384kbps and rumor has it that RR might upgrade upstreams to 512kbps, if you are in a Brighthouse area, they are moving extermely slow with moving caps higher.
Here in South Carolina Roadrunner has all ready moved to 3000 down but as you can see we are a little shy of that.

Your download speed : 2855087 bps, or 2855 kbps.
A 348.5 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 362122 bps, or 362 kbps.
Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

Thunderfoot,
Your question is definitely for "Indy" a member of these forums. He might be able to help you out. :)

It's not clear when, if ever, Bright House is going to raise the caps.
They have consistently denied that they would, but there are anecdotal reports of some areas seeing higher caps.

Indy is a Comcast Tech, not quite sure if he knows the plans of RR ;)

That's pretty good and close to the cap if you ask me considering external factors like line condition and TCP/IP overhead.
