If so is there a trustworthy person here that could get me my parts if I pay them with western union or money order?

If not thanx for answering.

I've done it a couple of times before and am willing to do it again. Last person I did it for was Jeremy because he lived in canada.

pay up front or course, partly for interest reasons. All I ask it a couple of extra bucks to pay for a burger and fries as a fee.

I've asked someone to buy some stuff for me before. Works out pretty well.

Of course you got to pay up front and also included some transaction fee. :D

Not sure about Egg, but some sites either refuse to ship to an address other then the one associated with the credit card's mailing address, or will do so only after tacking on a few extra days to run checks.

Not a good idea IMO...if some rips off your credit card chances are excellent you'll get refunded if it's caught in time/

With a debit card, once the money is gone it's GONE. You're basically giving someone access to your checking account and trusting them not to abuse the information.

with jeremy, we assumed it would be shipped to me first. So, he mailed me money order as follows:

cost of product +cost of shipping that product to him + cost of a hamburger and fries =

value of money order

upon receipt of the money order, the product was purchased using my credit card. Upon arrive, it was shipped to him and he was notified along the way of the progression.

that's the way to to do it. The buyer shouldnt face any risk because they are doing the buying for another party, thus really have no benefit aside for some calories.

Myself am not old enough but my grandparents are really close to buying me these for Xmas and they hate credit cards. Zooner how does $5 sound as a fee? They said if a card is required and I could get a trustworthy person to do it that they would. Could I talk to jeremy?

UPDATE: My uncle said he might but keep this on mind in case he changes his.

Actually, NewEgg has had several fraud incidents here on SG alone.

Ask RoundEye.

I remember reading about it...
I've sinced changed one of the options..

it gives you an option to save your CC (Debit Card) number, or have it destroyed after your purchase, they do not keep my CC (Debit Card) info anymore..

besides, I don't have any credit at this point...I don't think I could get a real CC if I wanted to... :o :D

Look into a "secured card" and you'll build credit.

I had to do this, as I had no credit initally...even the rip-off sky-high interest cards wouldn't touch me.

A secured card holds a given amount of money in an account, in my case $300. I gave them $300 (plus the $29, which is by far the cheapest I found) and they gave me a secured credit card with a $300 limit.

In case I tried to screw anyone, the $ was there for them to withdraw from.

Otherwise it's the same as a normal credit card, and there's no difference when it's being processed during a purchase, it's just another credit card.

This built good credit for me. After about 6 months I've got excellent card offers almost every day in the mail, and have recently opened a damn fine account with no annual charge and low rates (with no annual fee). When I close the secured card account I'll get my $300 back.

Let me know if you have any questions. I had a bankofamerica secured card btw.

I'm glad my parents got me a credit card when I was 18 (well only 500 credit and I need to pay for myself).

It really helps building credits. :)

You'll need credit eventually in this world, the sooner you start building it the better.

To my knowledge this is one of the easiest and cheapest ways.
