tweaking a linux box with cable modem?

Hi,

I wonder howto increase RWIN in order to optimize my cable connection.

I read the tips and howto's on tweaking the Windows registry. Since I run linux, this does not apply to my systems. (I run Fedora Core 1 and Mandrake 9.1)

Any assistance, links to manuals or tips would be much appreciated.

Don't expect huge differences. unices are pretty tuned for tcp already.

I understand the TCP settings in *nix are perfectly OK, without any need for tweaking.

Since I got a pretty fast connection anyway, I was surprised about my rather low RWIN value.

Anyway reading this link was most interesting.
