View Full Version : DSL, USB or ethernet
I am about to have DSL installed. It is 256 up 128 down. The modem that they offer works wth USB or ethernet. Right now I am considering USB. Is there any reason that I should pick one over the other? I am running XP home.

You want ethernet much more stable and faster.
I personally haven't noticed a difference between the two, but like mccoffee said I have also heard Ethernet is the way to go.

Ethernet.
If you want to split the connection with USB, you would have to use the Windows Internet Connection Sharing, which blows hard.
