connection probs,firewall,low speed PLEASE HELP!!!

im using emule and latley d/l speed very very low and also connecting to sources was slow and limited i moved to overnet and i got this msg that im behind firewall and bla bla....
i disable xp firewall offcourse and i never use it before...
my d/l from http is very good i got max speed but in p2p progs i got nothing..... it start only few days ago before i got also very good speed in emule....
is there anyway to check if im behind firewall or how to fix this prob???
