I have been getting these since this morning when I woke up. I don't know what it means NOR can I find it on the M$ site. If/when I click it (right or left) it just disappears.
Thoughts ?

But my harddrive is C. The D drive is my CD-RW. I thought Windoze was trying to write something to disk or something.

Have you recently updated your IDE drivers? If so roll back to the previous ones, if not then update them. Then boot into the Recovery Console and run a check disk with the following command chkdsk /r.

I have an external HD, but it is assigned drive letters F & G.
I'll check out the ABIT website to see if there are new drivers. If not, how would I "boot into the Recovery Console" ?
Thanks. :)

Ahh external hard drive, that's your problem. Sometimes XP doesn't read from that drive properly when the pc boots and you get this error. In any case you should install the Recovery Console (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=307654).

I'll check that out when I get home. I just have no idea why it would be trying to do something with the D drive.
*shrug*
I saw that message a few times back when I had a RAID0 setup when one of the drives was acting buggy.

I don't know what's wrong. This computer is running like **** and I can't figure this damn thing out.
Time for a reformat.

Thanks for the Google search, Roundeye. I like the narrowing down to MS. I already had the top 3 links as "read". I went through and read the 2nd one again and saw that it MIGHT have been trying to write to the "page" file on the external HD. I don't know if this can happen since the file is on C:. Thoughts ?
When I plug the external back in, I'll disable that how they say to do it. I have had it unplugged for awhile and have not seen the error since.
We'll see.
:)
Thanks again.
