win98 uninstall usb adsl modem

during the installation of usb adsl modem it asked for win98 cd.
by mistake i clicked the cancel or skip . the istallation failed.
there is no dialer icon in the nertwork dialer folder, there is no
usb modem item in the add & remove program.
there is no uasb modem inthe hardware - device maneger/network
i tryed to reinstall but getting a massege that the modem is already installed.
please adv. how can i un-install the modem?
is there any universal un install program for usb modems?

Maybe under the USB list in Device Manager?


Could use a registery editor to find the reg keys and delete them, then see if it reinstalls fine, but this can be a bit dangerous, so make a backup of your registery first!
