Man, I've been getting itchy for this patch...one more week it looks like. :(

"The highly anticipated, and, in our humble opinion, much-required v1.5 patch for Battlefield 1942 is facing a delay until next week. Better, mind you, than being shipped broken, but still not perfect. Not to mention that hopefully the uproar over the CD swapping will teach game publishers a lesson over abusive copy protection schemes.
Greetings from the Battlefield 1942 team.
We’d like to thank all of you for your continued patience and interest in the upcoming 1.5 patch. We’re sorry to say that this community update is to let you know that the patch won’t make it out this week.
The reason for the delay is that we want to make sure that it reaches you in top condition and that the cd swap fix we've been working on has proven trickier than first anticipated. The rest of the bug fixes are in place and The Invasion of the Philippines map is just about ready to go. It will be well worth the wait, we promise.
Thanks again to all of you for your continued support and enthusiasm for Battlefield 1942.
