Bored - Had some Photoshop fun

Where did you learn to do that stuff in PS ? I want to learn how to do that stuff with photographs and such. Just curious.

Any quick tips ? Tools ? Etc ?

Well, I started with Photoshop 4, back in around 7th grade, used it on and off. Last time I started using it a lot was for my senior website that I did for my web-based engineering class last year. Pretty much just practice and try different techniques and play with everything. Save in different stages so can easily go back if you think you would like to try something different.

color blending mode
smudge tool
blur too
heal tool
clone stamp
brightness/contrast
color dodge brush

If you are wondering about anything specific, feel free to ask and I will give a shot at explaining it.

I have never really played with ANY of the more advanced tools. It is a sweet program that I haven't had the time to learn.
