College LAN Port problems

I recently posted a post about my ultima online lag I was receiving in my college room. I found out that it was due to the school limiting bandwith to the game ports, as well as kazaa (that is why my kazaa didn't work either). I have the ports Ultima uses, and was wondering if there was a way to unblock those ports from my computer. Thanks.

If these ports can not be opened, you will need to find an alternate method of connecting to the internet where these ports can be opened

5001-5010 Game
7775-7777 Login
8888 Patch
8800-8900 UO Messenger
9999 Patch

Hmm thats weird - when I use UO it only uses about 35 kB/s MAX thats when there is like a grip of ppl and monsters on screen.
