Help with Ultima Online lag!!

this year, I just started college. I have been playing Ultima Online for about 5 years, and never had any lag problems at my house on a cable modem. Now, in my dorm, I am on a T3 networked connection, and according to toast.net, I usually have a connection of about 2500kb/s, while on my cable at home, I had a little less than that. But at the dorm, when I log into UO, the game seems to be very laggy. This doesn't make any sense since the connection here is faster. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem??!!!
oh ya, also I only moved about 30 mins away from my house to go to college, so it shouldn't be a distance thing.

Higher bandwidth doesnt help latency in video games. Where do you live and which shard do you play on?

I live in missouri and I play on Sonoma, which is halfway across the continent and I don't experience any lag.

What you can do is go to the "tweaking forum"


Then post your results of your tcp/ip analyzer test. One of the techies in there can help you. IT might increase your bandwidth, but wont reduce your lag. There is really nothign you can do to reduce latency sorry :(
