Skype, anyone given this a try yet?

I know a couple of people that are swearing by it. I just have to wait until they wake up tomorrow to call them and give it a try..

I'll do some more testing but I just had a conversation with someone in San Francisco (and I'm in Los Angeles) and the software is not too impressive. We confirmed that we were both using a Cable connection but the conversation sounded like it was being played at half speed.

Update: Was talking to a guy in Ohio last night and it was a clear as a bell. This looks like it might be pretty cool
