Messenger 6 disappears!!! Help

I just don't get this...When my windows loads...messenger appears in the task bar...but when I go to right click on it and sign in...it just vanishes. I've tried reinstalling but the same thing happens. Any ideas here...this is very annoying.

The other programs in the task bar are Plextools, Meaya Pop-up, Anti-porn, Itouch, Creative volume control, Symantec Corporate, Ati control panel.

Who needs messenger anyways, its spyware inside of itself :D

Copy this into the run line and press enter

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

You will have to reboot then reinstall. Not sure if its going to work but give it a shot.

I got this message when trying that...

"Error unregistering the OCX 16422"

And after pressing OK it continued with whatever process it was doing.
