I tried downlaoding a few songs off the new Martina Mcbride CD "Martina" and a pile came up on Kaaza, but there all the same song with different titles.

Anyone know what's going on with that ? It appears the record industry folks are dumping files out there to spoof downloaders.

Probably because the creators of kazaa are suiing the riaa for using unlicensed variations of their client to log ip addresses that turn into subpoenas.

They also put out dummy files to waste your time and make you give up.

yes, if your only looking for "newer" music, stuff that is current money makers for the recording industries, then they are trying to discourage the use of Kazza with those type of tactics. but if your looking for older music, stuff thats not on the radar, then Kazza still rocks!! as well as e-books and other p2p stuff.
