A little confused. Are you removing it's access in ZA, then it keeps saying it wants to access the internet, or are you just seeing the program entry in ZA and thinking it is accessing the internet?
yeah ive uninstalled it from windows and yet zone alarm says itsstill there trying to access the net

Try this Little Program (http://grc.com/files/shootthemessenger.exe) Its a Steve Gibson special. It will tell you if it's active or not. Steves stuff is useful sometimes:p just open it from the link.
not that messenger but the instant mesenger ie like icq that loads with out look express but ive removed it or so i thought
There is a setting in OE to load messenger when OE starts. Uncheck it.

Try disabling the service.
In Win XP
Control Panel
Administrative Tools
Services
Scroll down to "Messenger"
Right click, select properties, set it to disabled
Restart CPU
Voila!
PS There are a few programs like XP lite which will completely COMPLETELY remove them and other windows components
