Hey all:
Here are the photos I took almost a month ago at the AFB in Dayton, Ohio. There are 110 here. A lot of the later photos are dark because I didn't have enough battery to use the flash. Oh well. I'll be back soon enough.

Looks like the E-4...used to talk to them all the time when I was flying...they were called 'kneecap' for NEACP (National Emergency Airborne Command Post)...looks like the cone coming out of the back of the aircraft where the trailing longwire is let out from...

thanks for the pix man! I had a chance to go down there with my recruiter right after i enlisted. However i had other plans and couldn't make it. He told me they had just gotten a couple F-22s in there, doubt they would be showing those out in the open tho!! :)

Hey man... they definetely had them there. You could see it and get right up to it !

I still love the looks of the YF12-A/SR-71. And think about how old of a design she is...and what she's still capable of.

You're welcome, Cat ! Next time you're in the area for an SG meet, you'll have to make it down there.
Wafer: It would be worth it. Not too much in Ohio, but that museum rocks.
