w 2k pro problem after spk4

i am running win 2k pro. i wanted to install the MS patch for port 135(msblast) then i got the message that i need at least spk2
i could not find the spk2, the only one i found was the spk4.
i made EDR then did the update. after it done, it restarted the machine and now i have - it is starting and boot up to the point when i get the logo with the text " win..2k pro.........bulte under nt technology...." , the process bare (the line filled in blue) will go all the way to the end and then the pc will resert it self and starts like new power on. it is the same with safe mode.
how can i go back? what i have to do ? in order not to loss any thing, ?

Try repairing 2K, boot to your CD and select repair.

Do you mean to go to cdrom and do cd\i386 then type winnt
then waite untill it gives the option to repair ?
is it going to over write some of the os?
or there is another way to start the repair?

do you know if fosible to delete the downloaded spk4 files so it will not take some room from the HD?

Just booting from the cd-rom will do the same end result...make sure "boot from cd-rom" is selected in your BIOS boot order.

Also, before that, try hitting F-8 on bootup, and select "last known good configuration"...worth a shot.
