This is the info I have thus far ... ( taken from XP System Services and from the Microsoft Website )

Details
Product: Windows Operating System
ID: 7026
Source: Service Control Manager
Version: 5.0
Component: System Event Log
Symbolic Name: EVENT_BOOT_SYSTEM_DRIVERS_FAILED
Message: The following boot-start or system-start driver
(s) failed to load: %1

It is an ohci1394 device which in device manager states
could not start ...

I'm getting this one error and then 4 others about the
same time (which I believe are related to the same thing)
stating :

" Initialization failed because the device driver could
not be started " In the NetBT source ...

I'm on an Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard with the latest
drivers installed. I have no need for firewire at the
moment, but I dont' want to hear , nor see, the error
codes. I would like to correct the driver so that if I
need it in the future I will have it.

Can anyone please help ?

disable it on the mobo, either there is a jumper or in the bios, can't remember.

OK Great !! Thanks man that helped with one aspect ( It was in Bios ) ... I'm assuming the error was due to the fact that I did not have the Onboard 1394 header connected to the cases front ports , so it was not finding anything there ...

I'm still getting the 4 Initialization failures from NETBT source though ...

The Microsoft Website didn't seem to have any info ... I checked the other Bios settings and came up with nothing ...

Anyone knoe what exactly NetBT does ?

Is it Net Bios and something or other ?

Thanks man , Yeah I found it in the Window Help section ... Still not sure which dvice is causing the error , or what I should do to fix it , but it's probably a tolerable issue as it really doesn't seem to show any signs of problems
