I moved and i was wondering if it got any better...Its pretty fast but i wish i could just push it a little more. Im running Windows XP Pro. My Average download on ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/pub/test64 was 344

Good one Gibbs. Looks fake (someone's got a wonderful cache) besides such speeds are rarely needed given today's standards and what people do on the net (sure downloading ISO images, DivX/Xvid/vob movies, etc. would be easier if the given end server actually provided such bandwidth).

My point exactly - nevertheless with 4.417 Mbps you can't complain. Anything over 1-2 Mbps is great, anything above 3-4Mbps is wonderful and 5-10Mbps is simply awesome (especially if the upload figures are up to par - say at least: 512-1024Kbps). Good luck and enjoy your speeds.

A VERY innaccurate test, your caps are 3000. Just use the FTP tests.
