Folding using Linux

I am trying to bring up a Linux box for folding. I downloaded the linux software but whenever I try to start it with wine it says it can't run a binary. Anybody folding with Linux that can help me??
Using 20030619 version of wine with SuSE Linux 8.1

I've never run it under *nix myself. I thought fah has it's own native prog that does'nt need an emulator.
