Been over 100° every day for the last couple weeks here. It's gonna be over 100° for the rest of the week at least.:( I can't wait to get back to NC and eventually upstate NY. They can have this heat.

I was in Wichita Falls the summer of 1979 when the record was set of about 56 straight days of 100 or more was set. Now I'm up around Amarillo and it's still hot up here also with no releif in sight, not even into September.

Goobee must live in the valley in SUNNY California as I'll bet it's not that hot along the coastal areas. Take your computers down to the beach and set them up under a tent with a long extension cord. Hee:rotfl: Hee:rotfl:

Yeah it's hot. Moved 2x computers outside my office at the house, because that room was getting too hot. Two of them are now upstairs folding in two other rooms. Less heat impact that way, yet still folding.

We won't break that one, but it won't be for lack of trying. I can't wait to get out of here in Oct. I worked a second job as a loader at Lowes 3 summers ago and it about killed me. I had to buy a Camelback and fill it with ice and Gatorade just to make it through. I'm not the type to slow down at work and got heat exhaust twice in a week. Got the Camelback and I was able to at least keep functioning.

Yeah, Goobee's away from the coast. Not much hope for him temp-wise for a little while.:(

sorry to hear about those high temps you guys have been having, but down here in FLA it is like that for like 5 months a year, we just crank up the AC and worry about the power bills later.

let me tell ya it sux

Record high of 105 in Amarillo yesterday. Think I've found a way to get my ac working a little more effeciently. Let water trickle across the top of it to keep the housing cooler.

Relief is in sight today, only lower 90's. Remains of a thunderstorm complex sitting over the panhandle cutting of the solar heating from the sun today. Good thing it started early yesterday afternoon as we might have hit 110.

Hard to believe that 6 months ago 90 was considered hot and now its on the cool side.

my parents felt how hot my room was and got all panicy. i got a 20" fan now blowing the hot air out so the room is only as hot as outside.

We had some of those storms roll through last night. The UPS's pretty much paid for themselves in one night, power was up and down all morning.

Nice, cool 75° this afternoon though. Much better than 108° yesterday.
