I setup my server for games today.

I tested my bandwidth on it...

13Mbits down
13Mbits up

I should be able to host a 24 player game lagless.

with that bandwidth I'm sure you can host more than one server.. ;)

Yeah, that bf1942 is funny.

MOHAA has been my fav game for like 2 years now and when asking if people play 1942 ingame they say they would rather play mohaa.

But im gonna keep playing it for a little. running around in a corsair at guatamala (or whatever it is) and blowing up jap planes is kinda cool. Do those planes have joystick support?

If any of you guys wanna play just shoot me a instant message or ill just look for info in the forums :)

Yeah I use a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick...control of the planes is sooo much better.

I used to play MOHAA...was a good game ...back in the day. But 42 is so much more advanced...once you get used to the features in '42...going to MOHAA is such as step backwards. Can't drive vehicles, can't fly planes, can't captain ships, can't man AA guns or batteries, less weapon choices, smaller levels, older graphics. Quake 2 and 3 were good too..back in their time.

A little off but still on topic about bf1942...what's the level where the axis have an airport by the ocean and they get dually bombers. And there is a river running all the way down the level with stuff on either side. and there is a "dock" with cranes and stuff.

A little hard to explain but which level is that?

That's Battle of Britain map...a separate download...recently released map. English Channel is the body of water in between the Nazi side (France), and the Allied side (England). Germans have JU-88 bombers, and ME-109 fighters. Brits have their trusty Spits.

Goal...Germans have to bomb/destroy the factory, and 4x radar towers. English have to prevent the above 5 items from being destroyed.

I loved that map. Pretty much nobody runs it anymore, as it's tough to win as the Brits....you need to play as a team..which naturally nobody likes doing, everyone wants to be a flyboy and take off in Spits. The goal to winning as the Brits is to have engineers repairing the radar towers, and factory. Nobody wants to be an engineer doing that..since they don't get points. Hence the map was short lived...as it became so one sided.
