U said I wouldnt overtake u and have put up a hell of a fight, but i've shortened the distance alot, and by mid month i should knock u out of the top 10 until u pass daves world.
i take it the extra rigs u were planning on didnt happen?
well, feel free to bring the fight to me anytime, i enjoy the challenge! only makes the team better :)
I totally have fun with the stats and find it's a good way to recruit others.
Nothing wrong with a little friendly competition to make my hydro bill a little exciting lol.
Way to fold YoS! :)

It's not that the other rigs didn't materialize they did for a short while, but then they died. I've got 3 machines not running right now out in Phoenix, and probably won't be running for atleast 2 more weeks. And I have a computer here that is down. I've also got a computer a couple of towns over that is down. So I've got 4 processors going right now 2 on my Main Dually MP 1800+ an Athlon 900 and a lousy P2 350. Not exactly a high powered farm right now. I'm not gonna fly out to Phoenix and fix whatever is wrong with these other computers so I've got to wait till I can get in contact with someone out there who can fix them. Can't do anything about it. Eventually when I get the extra $ I plan on getting a new faster computer for myself but I've got other priorities right now.

I used to care about the stats about 2 years ago when I started with Genome@Home. Now I really don't give a rats ass about it. Lucky I'm still Folding. I've been contemplating giving up on it all together. The rigs I have here at home are starting to show signs of wear after 2 straight years of running Full out, and I can't afford to replace them right now should they just quit working.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean any offense agentbeast, just trying to be fun.... ;)
It truly doesn't matter about the stats I know, it's for the cause.
I've recently had computer troubles and my hydro bill is higher with 6 folding here.
I had my first close touch with cancer when my uncle died at 40 friggin years old... I guess it just helps me gain strength in knowing I am trying to help something or someone.
If I had 1 computer available and was dead last in the stats I'd still fold.
I started Genoming with a 233!
Don't you dare quit, people around here have been known to have spare parts, so don't you dare quit, your friggin top 10! We need You!
I definately don't mean to be pushy.

A buddie of mine from my town moved out to Phoenix and has computers running out there, I've have given him various parts for them. So he runs folding for me. Well about a month ago one of the PSU's failed and took the rest of the computer down with it. He replaced most everything and that was back up and running, he also has a computer at the office that I've helped him out with, and he recently got a laptop. However for the past few weeks he's been on assignment out in New Mexico, so all those computer have been down and not working. To top it off at home he doesn't have a router so either that laptop is hooked up or the Desktop is hooked up. One or the other. Fortunatly he's flying in this weekend so I'll be able to give him my old Linksys. Other than that AFAIK the computers are fine for now out there just haven't been running. This other computer down the street isn't configured quite right so it doesn't show up under processors so I really have no Idea if it's working or not.
On to my computers, the 350 I really don't care about it and it's been working fine. The 900 Athlon is alright and works fine aswell. But the dually has been taking a beating. I can't restart the computer anymore with out turning the power completely off from the switch in the back. Something is wrong with something in there. Probably something on the Mainboard. My computers have been running 100% 24x7 for over 2 years. They could use a break. Maybe when I go to this Golf outing in early September I'll shut them down for a few days. Let things cool down in there then maybe take them apart and clean em out. Then if I get the $ build that 2.8P4c system for FS2004 and move Server2003 onto the Dually.

Yeah it's still around but not that many people are running it anymore. Hell If I switched to running Genome instead of running Folding I could probably drive Speedguide inside of the Top 20 again.
