messanger & getting emails

running xp with messanger . used to get my email using Messanger - by mistake i delited from add&remove a file that is
somthing like "addition to ...... " since then, i cant get emails any more
when i try ot get my emails i am getting a massege that i am missing somthing do i want to get it, choosing Y it taks me to microsoft serch page but i dont know what i need to look for.
please adv. what i need to download in order to fix the problem

Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express?
Outlook will still work without messenger, mine does, however I've heard in some instances it takes a long time to load initially. Mine seems OK.

In add/remove programs if you go to windows components, try add (install)messenger back.
