I just noticed in "system information" on an XP machine that I just set up it says "activation pending".
I did the whole activation thing (or so I was led to believe) over the internet.

"Guests and normal users who view the System Information summary see the Activation Status as Activation pending (30 days remaining).
This behavior is by design. Only Administrators can query the Activation Status. Guests and normal users are always presented with the default 30-day grace period message"
Does that answer your question, or is it showing in the admin account?

Ya Norm it answers the question. Nothing shows up under administrator, Only under normal users.
And is long as it is not an issue, then I have no problem.
Thank you. :)
Regular users aren't smart enough to have that info (dangerous in the wrong hands), only admins are allowed to know these things :D
What will MS think of next lol
Glad that did it.
