So here is my dilemma:

I have three computers, two desktop and one laptop. I use to have one desktop with wireless internet connection connected to the laptop. Recently i just acquired another computer and I am trying to get it so all three computers have internet connections but specifically the laptop have a wireless connection. I also have a regular D-link router.

Now is there a way to use both the D-link router to connect both desktop and then use the USB Intel Anypoint wireless adapter to connect one of the desktop(server) to the laptop with a wireless connection?

I have tried it before but when i tried to use Microsoft Internet Connection Sharing it tells me that the ip address 192.168.0.1 is already in use. I have tried to change the ip adress of the router to 192.168.0.2 but to no avail.

Thanks for all your help
Eddie

I am not sure why you don't conenct all computers to the router. however, this is the answer. you may change the router's IP range to 192.168.1.0 and setup ICS IP range to 192.168.0.0 because ICS uses 192.168.0.0 (192.168.0.1 to 254) as default.

Your arrangement is not the best topology.

Double NAT is usually a source for problems in regular home network.

However if you like it this way you might try to use AnalogX Proxy instead of Win ICS.
