Question about ordering cable.

right now i am using earthlink dsl with speeds up to 160k/40k, i am thinking about ordering earthlink cable at the moment and was wondering how much would it costs since i dont have cable tv service anymore, since i live in nyc i was wondering if earthlink cable is the best service to get or should i get rr, thanks in advance.

I assume you have Time Warner Cable for a provider. If that's the case, you'll have to check with them but I'm pretty sure that unless you have basic cable T.V., they charge $54.95 a month for RR. I don't know what Earthlink would be. Personally, I'd get RR, but it really doesn't matter. If your happy with Earthlink, stay with it.

That's a pretty slow DSL connection. Are you out near the end of the line? What's your cost? I pay $45/month for my DSL advertised 1000kbps line with my local phone company. Speed tests have consistantly come back with 2000+kbps/240kbps. But, then I'm only a little over a mile from the CO. :D
