Auburn, Alabama? Looks like you'll have to get a court order and dig into Charter Communications to find the person providing he's not spoofing the IP address.

The correct procedure, as best I know, is to file theft charges against John Doe, then the prosecutor can ask for a subpoena. Not an easy thing to get done. You might be best to find an attorney who is well enough connected with the system to be able to make it happen.

He can't very well be spoofing his IP address, or he wouldn't be able to contact the site. You will need to know times and dates as well since the IP might be assigned to more than one user over time.

I found it right after I posted. Have a call into Charter, but the lady never called me back. nI'm starting my vacation now, so guess I'll tackle it when I get back. I really wanna bust this creep. I'm more than sure they'll expect me to obtain a court order, but that's cool. It's a hassle but, I'll play the game to nail this pr!ck. Just glad the online billing site I contacted coughed up the info without a catch. Rare that you get someone who is willing to cooperate without a court order.
