Ok, i have 2 routers...one a compusa wireless router and one a linksys 4 port router. What i would like to do is hook up all my computers sharing my cable modem and having all the computers visible on one network. I have internet access from both routers but i do not see the other computers on the network that are connected to the other router.
my layout is as follows, tell me what i need to do next:

cable modem =>compusa wireless router=> 2 computers hooked up in ports 1 and 2.

3rd cable connecting compusa router and linksys from port 3 on the comp router to the WAN port on the linksys router

I then have 3 computers hooked up to it in ports 1,2, and 3.

without messing with anything i can access the internet from all computers but still can't figure out how to make all the pc's show on the same network.

Im guessing that i should have used the uplink port on the linksys but i was not able to get on the internet when i did...or should i have used a crossover cable?

google searches have not been much help.

This guy had a similar setup. What you don't want is two routers. If you already have a router, and you want to go wireless, either replace the existing router with a new wireless router, or....get an access point for adding wireless to your existing network that the current router serves. You don't want two routers, you'll end up with NAT on the inside one doing it's normal job.

You can not connect the WAN of an Entry level Router to a regular port in another Router.

If you want to use the second router as a switch you can connect regular port to regular port.

This link will show you the general idea.
How do I use a Wireless Cable/DSL Router as a Switch with an Access Point? (http://www.ezlan.net/router_AP.html)
