View Full Version : Registry Tweak.
Ok, i have a question about a registry tweak found in mccoffee's tweaks thread. In one section he states to change the values to this:
Class - 1
DnsPriority - 1
HostsPriority - 1
LocalPriority - 1
NetbtPriority - 1
Does he mean it as a negative one? Or is the "-" a seperator because there is space around it.
they should all be the number 1, I prefer to keep the class value at its default 8, and change the rest.
How come my class value is "ffffff61" and not 8?
Should I still change it?
ffff... is the hexadecimal value change the decimal value by choosing the decimal system on the window which pops up with the dword value
by the way "1" means "true" & "0" means "false"

On the right for ALL OS's change these entries: (ALL values are HEXIDECIMAL)
Class = 1
DnsPriority = 1
HostsPriority = 1
LocalPriority = 1
NetbtPriority = 1
To change the value right mouse click on the value and select modify and enter the values above once you have done all of them reboot to take effect and see how fast your pages load.
