[BF1942] New Maps & Mods

Anyone try this map yet? I like it! Of course, the first time I played it I was lost for the longest time, lol :D

We have this map in our map rotation on our server, including another map for BF called "MayHem"


Wannabe naval captains get their prayers answered with Mayhem, a completely water-based map with zero land in it.
Engineers are fairly vital to their fleet's survival as is decent air support. Axis and Allies each have 2 carriers, 2 destroyers, 1 battleship, 1 sub, and an all-out toe to toe brawl to claim all 4 flags and drop the enemy's tickets to nothing. There are 2 flags at opposite ends of the map which sit in the water, the middle two flags however hover in the air. A quick flyby in the plane of your choice will capture the air flags but it's safe to say you can expect some resistance

Eve Of Destruction Demo 10% because its only 10% of what they want it to be. The mod Looks to be pretty good, and the demo is scheduled to be released this evening!

Eve of Distruction demo mod has been released over at fileplanet. Im in line as I type. The wait isn't all that long YET.... 15 minutes as of now...

i have this one here (http://web.tampabay.rr.com/snakepit/index/bloodpatch/) but have never tried it, let me know if it works for ya.

thanks for the links to all these mods just got done playing the turbo and the parallel world mod, pretty fun.

Thanx for the blood patch snake, I'm trying to get it going but can't figure where to put it.
It says: -Instructions:
This self-installer is even more simple.
Run bloodpatch_retail.exe which is included in this zip, then when asked where to install select your
Battlefield1942\archives folder (Normally C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Archives).
Click install, and voila..

However, that doesnt exist in my folder, I figure cause of the mods, so, I tried puting it in: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Archives with no luck :(

Is that right?




I would highly suggest Merciless Mod v4.

It really spices up the game and has a decent blood patch that comes along with it. Although the mod is pretty big, it's well worth the download!!

Is it like an addon that works with all mods!? I havent got it yet, but if thats the case, thats awesome! Is it?

well i just tried it too and i could not see any difference so maybe it doesn't work :(

I just noticed that eve of destruction demo has a ton of servers!

I expected it to be fairly dead seeing its new and all. I'm so addicted :D . Thanx for that link too btw.

Great site there Sitosterol!!!! Just gragged 'StuntVilla' and I've requested that map to be put on our clan server. :D We all love having fun with those stunt maps. :)

Yeah, only works with regular BF. BUT.... I found a pretty good sound mod for DC if you want to give that a try..lol I love it a lot better than the default sounds.

Roger That! Big score illini25, thanx a bunch! It definately adds to the game :D , especially the aircraft sounds and the rockets.
