As it is RC, you use it at your own risk.

I can wait. The trial download of AVG Single Professional 7.0 is available for use free-of-charge through July 11, 2003, at which time the license for the Release Candidate will expire. Licenses for AVG AntiVirus will be available for purchase on Grisoft.com and at Authorized AVG Resellers in July, 2003.

Oh well... couldn't wait.
Had to try it out and this AVG7 is very impressive after using the free version of 6 for so long.
Still early days. It was installed an hour ago but so far, so good.
