Signal Booster

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used motorola's bi-directional signal booster to improve their cable modem connection? During times of heavy rain or high humidity I experience a signal loss due to the humidity effecting an outdoor cable connection. I was wondering if spending 50.00$ on a booster would help, and for those that have used this product, does it effect speed/ping at all?

Welcome to Speedguide jack5577:D, don't waste your money, if you are losing your connection when it rains then you have a line problem. It's likely a bad connection or something isn't sealed properly, call your ISP and complain.
