YOSC and I have been lamenting about the lousy spring weather, and our favorite summer boating agenda.... rafting! If you've done it- you know what I mean. If you haven't, try it sometime. If you don't have a boat, hitch a ride with a friend who does.

Rafting = beer; bikini clad ladies; beer; more bikinis; more beer. What more could you ask for!!

Some pics to follow in a little while.

Here's an aerial of where we hang out in the 1000 Islands called Potter's Beach

I'll take "Beer; Bikini clad ladies for $250.00 please Alex!"

I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

looks like a lot of fun!

Call me a floridiot, but does the water actually get warm enough all the way up there to enjoy like that!? Must make for some good bikini-top action..:p You can tell I've never been up past West Virginia.. although I have been white water rafting in Cherokee NC, but the water was cold as hell and it was July!

My brother in-law has a good friend with a 21' angler and we take it out off the coast of Miami and there is this sand bar with no land in sight on all sides (unless you have binoculars) and everyone goes out and parks their boats.. its pretty wild and lots of fun. Feels like I'm standing in the middle of the ocean, oh and it definitely has the beer & clad bikinis goin' on for sure!.. :p

In New England where I am, it does. I can take the open ocean water from somewhere around mid June on up. By end of July it's comfy. The gulf stream comes somewhat close to shore around here before Cape Cod bounces it off east across the Atlantic towards England to keep them rainy! Beaches stay swimmable til around mid October..by then the air starts getting chilly.
