Grisoft has confirmed that both AVG6 and AVG7 will have a free version.
After posting about AVG6 being supported after AVG7 is released, a few questions appeared on a number of forums so earlier tonight I emailed Grisoft and received the following in reply which includes the one I sent to them. The only edits are email addresses.
