thats a kind of virus i have what doce it do my mother downloaded some tpye of american idle file

How did the AV program describe it in the warning?

it just said it w as a modification of the trojan. But it was a cheap free adv. Its weird though i used the more advanced norton 2003 and it didnt find anything. So do u think i dont have it maby it was a false alarm? I mean not only did it say i had that one but it said that i may have com.tsr virus. It said possible infected not infected. But when i scanned with norton it said i was fine. Plus i went to the files that the adv said was infected. I scanned them with norton and it said they were fine. Even did i full system scan with it. (i also updated to)

Symantic, MacAfee, Google and Hoaxbusters have no listing for "com.tsr" in their databases.

When you say "it just said it w as a modification of the trojan", what was the "it" that said?

I found a "Bat.Tally.1028" in my protected against menu. It's supposed to be a trojan, so maybe you'd be best advised to run a trojan scanner?
