I'm glad to hear it... mnosteele52 & earthmofo... thanks for your opinions. Wish I had OOL - but - one can't have everything.

Everyone wishes they had OOL. Those are excellent pings for a cable connection. Thought it was a DSL connection untill I saw your profile.

Thanks earthmofo - glad to hear you see it that way! I have a few (hopefully useful) tips & tricks as far as the settings of wireless routers/NICs go and the same is true for some manual work with the TCP/IP options/parameters of a given connection. I will post these here a bit later... hope they help anyone interested.
