Help me test my BF server

IM running a dedicated server off of a duron 1gig 512ram

seems the hardware will be fine. But i want to test the connection, see how many users i can have. most ive had so far is 14. No one reported lag.

its a cable connection.

so if you want, just connect now, or mainly tonite around 8 EST.

after you connect and play a little, let me know how many players were on, and if you experienced any LAG.

Its a DC server, rotating only Lost Village

Day before SG crashed I did a major update to the SG Battlefield server list and even PM'ed Cat about changing the title...and now its back to 4/16 updates :cry: Oh well!

DOH...I think I remember seeing that. I checked in, had several PM's, was typing a long reply to Mountainman about Jeeps. I was just hitting "Send" to him when "BAM"...gone.

LMAO!!! I would of thought the same. I chatted with Mountainman yesterday and he mentioned he was waiting for some info from ya, hehe

I'll update the BF server list again, prolly this evening if I get the chance..and If im not playing BF that is...hehe :)

Hey man. Don't worry about it. I don't think they'll sell for my price.

However, I am still planning on buying a TJ with the 4L. I am thinking about going with TeraFlex suspension (4").

Not sure yet.

I've got my wife's AthlonXP2400 w/ a 512k upload speed (I'm only rated via roadrunner @ 384, but all test sites indicated I'm running @ 512 on average.) that I use everyonce in a while for a dedicated BF server.. I'd be interested in knowing how many people it could support as well.. so far 14 is the most you've had on at once? thats more than I've tried. I've only had 9 at once and it ran perfect..

I'd love to play some DC with ya.. I need to check out some of these custom maps though.. I've seen 'em all over the server lists but I'm still only using the basics, except Aberdeen which is a cool tank battle.

yea... 14 is like my absolute max i do believe.... last nite i did get a decent game going.

Only problem with that many users was the rest of my connection in the house was shot.. and my sister dad and mom use it.... they are only web browsing.... but when web browsing is slow... they come to me... lol

I played on it for a few minutes, just testing it out. When I was on, there was 21 on at the time!! I did notice that everyone's pings spiked up then settled back down, which happened a few times.

Lost village is a fun map! I also love playing '73 Battle of Easting

Aberdeen is a great tank battle map. Our clan also has a dedicated server for 24 players and we had a fun tank battle session last evening!

I played on the server a couple times. First time there was about 18-20 peeps and was pinging about 175. :( But the second time when I played with MH I was at a about 100 which is playable, granted there were only about 8 on the second time. Good server overall and I will play there more.

Only thing I actually dont like is that its only one map, gets boring real quick. I could only play that map 2 times in a row at most.

I played on it last night.. there was about 10 people. Ran smooth.. cool map, but I like a changeup every 2 or 3 rounds or so..
