I am soon going to be down to one computer. However, I have a Linksys router that I just got. It will probably stay hooked up to the router in case a friend comes over with their computer or I need to work on another or whatever.
My question: is it OK/safe to let the router be the only firewall that is used ?
Thanks. :)

By all means. A NAT firewall is much more secure than a software firewall any day, just make sure you scan regularly for spyware and trojans since a NAT firewall doesn't block any outgoing data.
:) :D
yes, all I use is a linksys router.

As long as you are NOT forwarding any ports through it, the simplest NAT router should be fine. AV/Trojan scanners are always recommended.
