Ok this is really weird or is it ?

I have 10mbit VDSL ( PPPOE ). Something like a month ago connection speed dropped from 1mb to 500 - 600kB/sec.. I've had chatted with my ISP a lot but they just cant figure it out why it is so, well anyways when I'm dloading @ full speed ( in this case 500kB/Sec ) My DUMETER tells me that I'm dloading @ 1MB/Sec.. so whatta heck ??? why does DUMETER show me that speed and what could be wrong with my connection...

I hope u understood what I mean, please help :P

10mbit DSL..... must be a typo.

I don't trust DUMETER..... usually incorrect.

You didn't provide information. Well, barely.

What Operating System, ISP, REAL caps, and TCP Settings?

10mbit -V-DSL <-- I think VDSL can go up to 54mbit..

WinXP intel 2,4ghz with 1GB of RAM

the analyzer: ( RASPPPOE ) Realtek integrated RTL8139 blaablaa

TCP options string = 020405a001010402
MTU = 1480
MSS = 1440

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 43200
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 43200

RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
506880 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
253440 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
126720 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63360 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product:

Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1728 kbps (216 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 691.2 kbps (86.4 KBytes/s)@500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 47 hops

TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 01011010

Precedence (priority) = 010 (immediate)
Delay = 1 (low delay)
Throughput = 1 (high throughput)
Reliability = 0 (normal reliability)
Cost = 1 (low cost)
