Good morning!
I have two PC's that are connected to a router, with a cable modem on the upstream side of that.
Both computers can access the internet at blazing speed and have no problems with the router.
Where everything goes to hell is when I try to establish a network connection between the two PC's.
PC-1 can ping PC-2, but PC-2 cannot ping PC-1.
Both PC's can access the router configuration program through the TCP/IP address, so I know that there is no issue with the PC talking to the router.
I am at a loss as to why I cannot establish a simple network.
I am running W2K on both PC's.
Both have 10/100 NIC cards.
The CAT5 cables are brand new, I don't suspect they are bad.
Any ideas?
