S-Video cords? And Getting footage on my comp

I need to know how to get my footage off my camera with an s video cord? Any one know how to do that?

if you have video editing software program, there should be a button "Capture" which streams the footage from the Camcorder to your computer. Was that too basic of an answer for you???

You'll need to get a capture card with an s-vid input.

you should use firewire if your camera has it. S-Video carries video data only, no sound, FYI.
