On the surface, it may seem to be a trifling issue, but it’s more important than one may think. It may sound petty, but people like to be on winning teams vs. the opposite. It can be a morale builder – additionally, it’s easier to attract and keep members when team morale is high. The more active crunchers the team has, the higher it can go up the standings. Conversely, the more crunchers we have, the more work we can accomplish for the Folding program. It’s a Win-Win situation, especially for Stanford.

So let’s go out there and crunch! :)
