We need more recruits to keep those dastardly EOC'ers off our rear. I'm spanking my hamsters as fast they'll run and I don't think I can afford to feed another two.

Well, I am putting together another box. However I am about to be Goobeed :).

I would suggest that new SG members have the option of joining the Fold with a script that automatically sets up the program as a service.

I don't know how keen I am about the idea, so I don't know how Phillip would react, but perhaps he could set up some option or something for the TCP/IP Optimizer to have an option to join the SG folding@home team. I know Rage3d does it with their Rage3d tweak thinger. You can't bundle the FAH client with it, but you could have the option to download it from Stanford and join team SG. Either that or we bust out the ginormous Sigs again:D

That would be a great idea. Like I said I had no clue what F@H even was untill I was here for a while.

I found SETI first and started there, but when I couldn't get a password from them to check my stats, I stumbled around and accidently found the SpeedGuide forum.

I think it needs more visibility on the home page so that it's easier to find. Something like a banner that points to the folding information, but doesn't look like so many banners that just get ignored. Maybe a blinking option on the Main menu as well as a brief message someplace.

Also, lets talk to our bosses, friends, and relatives a bit more and talk them into joining.
